PEARL is Ortec Finance’s performance evaluation system. It enables the measurement, contribution and attribution of investment performance and generates ex-post risk and return analyses. PEARL offers a unique platform that supports all asset categories in a fully automated, data-controlled process. The system has two main components: the Calculation Manager (CM) which carries out a great variety of computations, and the Web Portal (WP), a reporting tool that draws up quick and state-of-the-art performance reports through the Internet.

PEARL relieves performance teams by rendering fast and transparent performance evaluations of the most complicated investment structures. It produces reliable figures on how the various investments have actually performed. Besides a series of standard reports, users can customize reports themselves or perform an ad hoc attribution and subsequently display it in an attractive format with the integrated Report Designer.

PEARL integrates our unique Investment Decision Process (IDP) model with its top-down approach, a great fit for complex and balanced portfolios. But multi-level, bottom-up or other attribution and analysis methods are also possible.
